In 1959 Joe Chesson founded The Chesson Agency. Joe’s company provided Wilson with Real Estate and Insurance needs. After a fire destroyed the original downtown building in 1982, Joe didn’t let that stop what he built. With the heart of the business and the help of his son, Jeff, they rebuilt The Chesson Agency where it resides today.
Joe's son Jeff Chesson began his journey in 1977 and never looked back. He put his heart and soul into making The Chesson Agency the best option for Real Estate needs in Wilson. He made the company so successful he added a business partner, Joel Watson in 1993. Jeff and Joel made the perfect team with an emphasis on client satisfaction and top-notch agents that know the Real Estate business. The Chesson Agency has become the largest Real Estate firm in both production and size.
In 2006, with a demand for affordable, quality rental properties, Chesson Property Management was added. Whether they are buyers, sellers or renters, every client is treated with the same respect and attention to detail that they (and you) deserve.
Jeff's sons, Adam and Matthew Chesson, have continued the Chesson legacy by entering the Real Estate business. Adam has been a Realtor/Broker since 2005 and partner since 2012. It was no mistake that Adam was made for Real Estate when he joined the business. Adam has played an integral part in bringing The Chesson Agency into the 21st Century making sure we stay one step ahead of our ever-changing market providing our clients with the best resources available.
Matthew, Property Manager and owner of Chesson Property Management, has been a Realtor/Broker since 2008. Matthew moved back to Wilson in 2010 after living in Charlotte and took over as property manager. Matthew has grown Chesson Property Management into a bigger more successful company then anyone thought possible by providing renters and home owners with outstanding customer service.
